MORGAN
 Lumber Co., Inc.

In 2010, we installed a USNR triple length continuous dry kiln (CDK) which is the most recent technology in drying southern yellow pine lumber.

The continuous method allows us to equalize the moisture content in the lumber more efficiently as it passes through the kiln.

This kiln is capable of drying approximately 60 million b.f. per year and is comprised of one heat chamber and two equalizing chambers – one on each end.  It is fueled with sawdust from our sawmill operation in a USNR green burner system.
